Jeffrey A. Leerink is the Chairman and CEO of Leerink Swann, a leading investment bank specializing in healthcare. Leerink Swann provides merger and acquisition advisory services and access to equity capital markets for healthcare companies for which Leerink Swann has raised more than $15 billion of growth capital.
Mr. Leerink sits on the Board of Directors of Humedica, Inc., a next generation clinical informatics company, is a member of the Board of Fellows for Harvard Medical School and is a member of the Therapeutics Advisory Council at The Harvard Medical School Program in Translational Science and Therapeutics. He also actively supports a number of charitable organizations and sits on the board of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Massachusetts Bay. Mr. Leerink was born in Massachusetts, and received his B.A. in Economics from Union College.

Daniel B. Dubin, M.DVice Chairman, Chief Knowledge Officer and Founder of MEDACorp
Daniel B. Dubin has been an advisor to institutional investors and corporate life sciences clients since 1996. Dr. Dubin is also a member of the Management Committee and Chair of the Commitment Committee at Leerink Swann. He was an instructor in Dermatology at Harvard Medical School and has held staff appointments at the Brigham and Women's Hospital and Dana Farber Cancer Institute. While at Brigham and Women's Hospital, he served as Ambulatory Medical Director of Clinical Dermatology and as a member of the Clinical Executive Committee.
Dr. Dubin is a graduate of Dartmouth College and Harvard Medical School and completed both an internship in internal medicine and a residency in Dermatology at Massachusetts General Hospital. He has published over 30 manuscripts in medical journals and textbooks and performed a NIH training fellowship at the Harvard Skin Disease Research Center. He serves as a Director of Leerink Swann, Eleme Medical, and NanoBio Corporation. He is the former Chairman of MetaWorks, Inc.

Robert E. CawthornEmeritus Board Member
Robert E. Cawthorn retired in 2001 as a Managing Director of Global Health Care Partners of DLJ Merchant Banking Partners, specializing in private equity investment in health care businesses worldwide. He retired as Chief Executive Officer of Rhône-Poulenc Rorer Inc. in May 1995 and as Chairman in May 1996, after nearly four decades in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and animal health industries.
Mr. Cawthorn was an executive with Pfizer International for 17 years and was the first president of Biogen Inc. before joining Rorer Group in 1982.
Mr. Cawthorn is Chairman of Actelion Pharmaceuticals Ltd. and also serves on the boards of private companies and not-for-profit institutions, including The March Group, NextPharma Technologies, and the Bermuda Institute of Ocean Sciences (Trustee Emeritus).
Mr. Cawthorn is a graduate of Cambridge University, England and lives in Bermuda and London, England.

Jonathan Fleming
Jonathan Fleming is the Managing Partner of Oxford Bioscience Partners (OBP), an international venture capital firm specializing in life science technology-based investments, with offices in Boston and Connecticut.
Mr. Fleming has been in the investment business for over eighteen years, starting and financing growth companies in the United States, Europe, and Israel. Prior to joining OBP in 1996, he was a Founding General Partner of MVP Ventures in Boston, MA. He began his investment career with TVM Techno Venture Management in Munich, Germany. Mr. Fleming has also co-founded Medica Venture Partners, a venture capital investment firm specializing in early stage healthcare and biotechnology companies in Israel. Mr. Fleming holds a Master's degree in Public Administration from Princeton University and a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California, Berkeley
Mr. Fleming is co-founder and Chairman of the Board of Memory Pharmaceuticals. He is also Chairman of the Board of BioProcessors Corporation and Dynogen Corporation, and is a director of several private companies. Mr. Fleming is a Trustee of the Museum of Science in Boston and is a Senior Lecturer at MIT's Sloan School of Management.

Arthur J. Higgins
Employed as Consultant with Blackstone Healthcare Partners of The Blackstone Group. Previously served as Chairman of the Board of Management of Bayer HealthCare AG, a developer and manufacturer of human and animal health products, and Chairman of the Bayer HealthCare Executive Committee.
Prior to joining Bayer HealthCare in 2004, Mr. Higgins served as Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of Enzon Pharmaceuticals, Inc. from 2001 to 2004. Prior to joining Enzon Pharmaceuticals, Mr. Higgins spent 14 years with Abbott Laboratories, most recently as President of the Pharmaceutical Products Division from 1998 to 2001. He is a past member of the Board of Directors of the Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America (PhRMA), of the Council of the International Federation of Pharmaceutical Manufacturers and Associations (IFPMA) and President of the European Federation of Pharmaceutical Industries and Associations (EFPIA).

Spencer P. Hoffman
Spencer P. Hoffman is an officer and a Principal at Lovell Minnick Partners LLC. Lovell Minnick is an independent private equity firm providing buyout and growth capital to companies in the financial services industry. Prior to joining LMP, Mr. Hoffman was a Principal at Safeguard Scientifics, a publicly traded growth capital investor. Mr. Hoffman also served as an associate with Mellon Ventures where he was active in all aspects of their venture investing activities. He began his career in Merrill Lynch's Global Investment Banking Group where he worked on a variety of equity, convertible debt, M&A and other strategic mandates, and then joined MicroStrategy as Manager of Corporate Affairs, reporting to the CEO.
Mr. Hoffman received an MBA in Finance from the Wharton School of Business and a Bachelor of Arts in African American Studies from Brown University.

Jeffrey D. Lovell
Jeffrey D. Lovell is the Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of Lovell Minnick Partners LLC, and chairs its Investment Committee. In 1987, Mr. Lovell co-founded Putnam Lovell Group and in 1999 he organized LMPs predecessor, Putnam Lovell Capital Partners, as a subsidiary of Putnam Lovell.
In his years at Putnam Lovell, Mr. Lovell served as President and Vice Chairman through its development from a single office, M&A advisory firm to a full-service investment bank with over 150 employees serving financial institutions worldwide from offices in the U.S. and U.K. Putnam Lovell became widely recognized as a preeminent boutique firm in global financial services M&A.
Prior to the founding of Putnam Lovell, Mr. Lovell held executive positions at SEI Investments (Nasdaq: SEIC) including Managing Director of SEI Financial Services (U.K.) and Vice President/National Sales Manager. While at SEI through its formative years leading to its 1981 IPO, Mr. Lovell was selected to open its first branch office and its first overseas office and directed sales efforts in various divisions of SEI.
Mr. Lovell received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, cum laude in Finance, from the University of Colorado at Boulder. He is a member of the Boards of Directors of ALPS Holdings, Berkeley Capital Management, Duff & Phelps and PlanMember Financial Corporation. Mr. Lovell is a Board Member Emeritus of the Leeds School of Business at the University of Colorado and a member of the Investment Committee of the University of Colorado Foundation.

Kenneth Novack
Ken Novack was Vice Chairman of Time Warner until his retirement at the end of 2003. He joined America Online as Vice Chairman in 1998. He was the lead negotiator for AOL in its merger with Time Warner in 2001. In addition, Mr. Novack had responsibility for AOL's legal department and its venture investments. Following the merger, he became Vice Chairman of AOL Time Warner.
Prior to joining AOL, Mr. Novack was a partner at the law firm Mintz, Levin, Cohn, Ferris, Glovsky and Popeo where he practiced for 32 years. As a corporate and securities attorney, Mr. Novack counseled entrepreneurs, venture capital firms, investment bankers, and numerous life sciences companies. His practice focused on venture capital, corporate finance and mergers and acquisitions. He currently serves as Senior Counsel to Mintz Levin.
In addition to continuing as a director of Time Warner, Mr. Novack serves on the boards of Appleton Partners, Gordon Brothers Group, and Paratek Pharmaceuticals. He is Chairman of Humedica. Mr. Novack also serves as a member of the Advisory Board of General Catalyst Partners.
Mr. Novack is Trustee Emeritus and retired Vice Chairman of Tufts Medical Center and Boston’s Museum of Science.
Mr. Novack is a graduate of Dartmouth College and Harvard Law School.

Richard N. Pallan
Richard N. Pallan serves as an advisor to leaders of entrepreneurially driven organizations. He retired in 1995 from Putnam Investments, where he was a Senior Managing Director and member of the Executive and Management Committees of the firm. Over a seventeen year career, he led Putnam's corporate and product development efforts, built and led the firm's defined contribution plans business and headed business strategy.
Mr. Pallan has also held positions at Alliance Capital Management Corporation and Fidelity Investments. He has sat on the boards and executive committees of several public and private corporations and non-profit organizations. Mr. Pallan is a graduate of Tufts University, did graduate work in engineering at Columbia University and received his MBA from Harvard University School of Business where he was a Lamont Fellow.

Robert M. Whelan, Jr.
Robert Whelan has over 30 years of investment banking experience working predominantly with high technology and healthcare companies. From 2001 to 2005, Mr. Whelan served as Founder and Managing Director of Valuation Perspectives, Inc., a consulting firm based in Wellesley, Massachusetts. Prior to that, he held a number of senior-level positions at various investment banking and brokerage firms. Mr. Whelan was Vice Chairman of Prudential Volpe Technology Group, the technology investment banking and research division of Prudential Securities. Prior to Prudential Volpe, he was COO, Managing Director, Board Member and Head of Investment Banking of Volpe Brown Whelan & Company, a private technology and healthcare investment banking, brokerage and asset management firm that was acquired by Prudential Securities in late 1999.
Mr. Whelan received degrees from Dartmouth College (B.A. in History) and Stanford University Graduate School of Business (MBA).
