This is an opportunity for candidates with sales experience in financial services or pharma/biotech/medical devices to join the institutional sales team of Leerink Swann LLC.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Sell company platform, MEDACorp and research to prospective institutional clients
- Help develop new relationships and maintain existing relationships
- Build and maintain contact database
- Disseminate research and industry information to buy-side accounts
- Participate in company conference calls to discuss market trends and new research, remain current on industry developments and share client information
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA a plus
- Minimum 1-3 years selling experience in financial services or pharma/biotech/medical devices
- Interest in financial services market and obtaining Series 7 and 63 licenses
- Outstanding oral communications skills with the ability to interact effectively with clients and other members of research, sales and trading teams.
- Attention to detail, self-initiative, motivation to succeed and ability to build relationships both internally and externally.
- Able to quickly and effectively solve problems, strong ability to handle client requests and demonstrated skills in managing time sensitive situations.
- Thrives in a fast paced atmosphere and is able to multi-task
