Job Title: Investment Banking Analyst
Reports to: Senior Managing Director of Investment Banking
Department: Investment Banking
Location: Boston
This is an opportunity to become a key member of an experienced team building a world-class investment banking practice focused on emerging growth companies in the healthcare industry. Analysts have significant responsibility, client exposure and opportunity for advancement.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparation of presentations to clients and prospective clients
- Prepare valuation analyses of clients and targets
- Review business plans, conduct research and analyze financial statements
- Perform due diligence investigations
- Interact with clients and internal banking team
Experience and Qualifications Required:
- Strong financial modeling and analytical skills, including knowledge of financial accounting
- 1-2 years of experience in investment banking or business development strongly preferred
- Experience with primary, secondary research, data analysis and corporate finance
- Outstanding written and oral communication skills
- Highly motivated, energetic, personable and capable of managing multiple tasks within a short window of time
- Undergraduate degree preferably in Liberal Arts, Life Sciences or Finance/Accounting with outstanding academic credentials from a leading institution
