Job Title: Middle Market Sales
Reports to: Head of Middle Markets
Location: Boston or New York
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Build and maintain contact database
- Sell company platform, MEDACorp and research to prospective clients
- Help develop new relationships and maintain existing relationships
- Disseminate research and industry information to buy-side accounts
- Participate in company conference calls to discuss market trends and new research, remain current on industry developments and share client information
- Periodic clients visits
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA a plus
- Minimum 1-3 years financial services sales experience
- Series 7 and 63 licenses
- Outstanding oral communications skills with the ability to interact effectively with clients and other members of research, sales and trading teams
- Attention to detail, self initiative, motivation to succeed and ability to build relationships both internally and externally
- Able to quickly and effectively solve problems, handle client requests and manage time-sensitive situations.
- Thrives in a fast paced atmosphere and is able to multi-task
