Job Title: Sales Assistant
Reports to: Managing Director
Department:Institutional Sales
Location: Boston
The Sales Assistant will provide administrative and project support to the Institutional Sales desk.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to salespeople on the institutional sales desk
- Schedule and coordinate department and client meetings
- Prepare expense reports and submit to Accounting in a timely manner.
- Make detailed and accurate travel arrangements
- Provide phone coverage, take messages and deliver information as appropriate
- Fulfill requests from clients, company management, research, institutional sales and trading for updated models, research notes or any other necessary information
- Update charts, spreadsheets and valuation pages as needed
- Distribute information for the departments including research, proposals and client paperwork. Coordinate service, follow-up activity and communication between clients
Experience and Qualifications Required:
- Bachelor's degree with at least one year of work experience preferred
- Strong computer skills in MS Word, Excel and Powerpoint
- Excellent organizational skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to details, self initiative, motivation to succeed and ability to build relationships both internally and externally
- A willingness and desire to learn
