Job Title: Supervisory Analyst Editor
Reports to: Senior Editor

The Equity Research department at Leerink Swann is seeking a Supervisory Analyst/Editor to join the team. The hours of this role will be 4-8:00am EST with the possibility of additional hours as the work load requires.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Approve equity research reports ensuring that they meet the standards described by the NYSE in the “Communications with the Public” section of its Constitution and Rules.
- Enforce that the reports contain no untrue statements or omissions of material facts, promissory language, exaggerated claims, opinions that lack a reasonable basis and forecasts that are not labeled as such
- Review reports to verify that they contain both the SEC Rule 2711-mandated compliance elements and “best practices” elements that include, but are not limited to, disclosure of conflicts of interest, analyst certification and portrayals of past performance.
- Interact with research staff related to content modification, with the legal department regarding Watch List and Restricted List stocks
Experience and Qualifications Required:
- Series 16 license or Series 24 license
- Prior editorial experience
- Knowledge of MS Word and Excel; familiarity with desktop publishing
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work under time constraints and work independently
