Job Title: Director, International Institutional Equity Sales
Reports to: Head of Institutional Equities
Department: Institutional Sales & Trading
Location: Boston
Research, analyze & interpret financial reports to assist in the development of economic forecasts; Sell company platform & research to prospective clients
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Sell company platform and research to prospective clients
- Develop new relationships and maintain existing relationships with fund managers in UK, Switzerland, Germany, Scandinavia, Canada and Australia
- Disseminate research and industry information to accounts
- Research, analyze and interpret financial reports to assist in the development of economic forecasts
- Understand and communicate relevant financial and economic recommendations to clients
- Present economic and financial reports clearly and concisely in the following forms: written reports, oral presentations, and conference calls
- Provide considerable client contact and liaison and accompany research analysts to road shows, marketing events and conferences
- Arrange marketing road shows in international markets for management executives for both public and private companies; Support, as required, Investment Banking and Strategic Advisory efforts including but not limited to attending client meetings or hosting client events.
Experience and Qualifications Required:
- Required Degree: Bachelors degree in Business or Economics (or foreign degree equivalent)
- Required Experience: 7 years experience in Equity Sales
- Other Requirements: Must have existing portfolio of institutional equity relationships; prior experience managing an international client base; Licenses required: 7, 63. Job requires substantial international travel.
