Job Title: Investment Banking Analyst
Reports to: Senior Managing Director of Investment Banking
Department: Investment Banking
Location: Boston
Assist in preparation of presentations to clients and prospective clients Prepare valuation analyses of clients and targets Review business plans, conduct research and analyze financial statements Perform due diligence investigations Interact with clients and internal banking team
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- This is an opportunity to become a key member of an experienced team building a world-class investment banking practice focused on emerging growth companies in the healthcare industry. Analysts have significant responsibility, client exposure and opportunity for advancement.
Experience and Qualifications Required:
- Strong financial modeling and analytical skills, including knowledge of financial accounting
- 1-2 years of experience in investment banking or business development strongly preferred
- Experience with primary, secondary research, data analysis and corporate finance
- Outstanding written and oral communication skills
- Highly motivated, energetic, personable and capable of managing multiple tasks within a short window of time
- Undergraduate degree preferably in Liberal Arts, Life Sciences or Finance/Accounting with outstanding academic credentials from a leading institution
