Job Title: MEDACorp Account Manager
Reports to: Client Service Manager

MEDACorp is a division of Leerink Swann LLC that provides biomedical consulting services to life sciences companies and their investors. Through its internal team of experts and its dedicated external network of academic and community healthcare professionals, MEDACorp assesses the viability of cutting-edge medical technologies, thus giving decision makers the information they need to perform. The MEDACorp Account Manager is the lead role in prospecting, establishing, and maintaining relationships with MEDACorp consultants and clients within the financial services industry via conference calls, conference events, and marketing meetings.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Client focus: Act as primary point person for clients: analyzing, processing, and fulfilling specific client requests to discuss healthcare products, devices or therapies with MEDACorp consultants
- Healthcare industry knowledge: Maintain a working knowledge of companies and pipeline products within the healthcare market
- Client management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients in the financial industry
- Collaboration: Actively communicate with consultant network to generate news and idea flow
- Relationship Management: Engage and develop relationships with MEDACorp Consultants
- Recruitment: Recruit new consultants to help build the MEDACorp network
- Teamwork: Work independently and in a team environment to complete client projects
Experience and Qualifications Required:
- BA/BS degree
- 2-4 years of sales or account management experience in the healthcare/life sciences sector; ideal opportunity for pharmaceutical sales reps
- Financial Services experience a plus
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to organize and prioritize multiple projects
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to interact professionally with internal senior management, physicians, and other biomedical professionals
- Keen attention to detail
- Use of discretion with respect to privileged information
