Job Title: Analyst
Reports to: Manager
Department: Strategic Advisors
Location: Boston or New York
Leerink Swann Strategic Advisors works with leading and emerging life sciences clients to identify and develop growth opportunities through optimizing internal portfolios, assessing external opportunities, and assisting with post-merger integration. Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Drive project workstreams under the guidance of other team members
- Conduct interviews with clinical and scientific thought leaders
- Lead analysis of such issues as product sales and prescription trends, company pipelines, regulatory guidelines, clinical trial design, reimbursement policies, treatment guidelines, and epidemiologic data
- Build financial forecasts for product assessments
- Actively participate in the production of client deliverables
- Travel with the team to client meetings and present team findings during presentations
Experience and Qualifications Required:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in the life sciences
- Scientific and/or healthcare experience a plus but not required
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
- Superior problem-solving capabilities
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Self-starter, with a team-oriented attitude
