Michael Weintraub joined the firm in 2007 as Senior Managing Director and Head of Corporate Development & Strategy. Integral to the corporate development and strategy of the business is the firm's unique knowledge platform. In this capacity, Mr. Weintraub leads Leerink Swann's information and knowledge-ware hub, which includes MEDACorp, as well as several emerging assets. Additionally, Mr. Weintraub leads the firm's corporate marketing function.
His background includes 25 years of executive management experience in the healthcare technology, information services and consulting arenas. Mr. Weintraub has held senior leadership positions in several start-up and rapid-growth organizations, focused on the application of innovative decision support technology, information assets and analytic services across the healthcare spectrum. Most recently, he was President & CEO of PharMetrics from 2001-2006. PharMetrics was a venture-funded company providing healthcare business intelligence information solutions to the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, provider, payor, employer and consumer markets. PharMetrics was acquired by IMS Health in 2005. Previously, Mr. Weintraub was Senior Vice President & COO of eLoyalty, Vice President & General Manager at The MEDSTAT Group, Senior Vice President & Officer at MediQual Systems and a Director at Amherst Associates.
He holds a B.A. in Economics from Brandeis University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
As head of MEDACorp Services, Yoori Lee manages the development and strategy of MEDACorp's broad spectrum of services for Leerink Swann's clients. Ms. Lee was instrumental in building the MEDACorp network of consultants from its inception. She has expanded the consultant base to include a cadre of more than 25,000 healthcare professionals including, but not exclusive to, clinical medicine, biomedical research, regulatory affairs, public policy, healthcare administration, healthcare information technology and other healthcare consulting throughout the world.
As Chief Scientific Officer, Dr. Mora structures proprietary research for institutional clients and moderates the Physician Conference Series. Prior to joining Leerink Swann, Dr. Mora served as Associate Physician and Co-Director of Medical Critical Care at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston. Dr. Mora has pursued basic research in a variety of areas and is the author of over 30 manuscripts in peer-reviewed journals and textbooks. He completed residency training in Internal Medicine at the Beth Israel Hospital in Boston and fellowship training in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at the Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston. Dr. Mora is currently Board-Certified in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Medicine and Critical Care Medicine. He is a graduate of Brown University, where he received a Bachelor of Science in Biology and graduated Magna Cum Laude. He attended the Pritzker School of Medicine at the University of Chicago, where he received his M.D. degree with Honors and a Ph.D. in Biochemistry.
