Leerink Swann Appoints Jed Cohen as Managing Director, Investment Banking
Boston, MA – June 10, 2009 - Healthcare investment bank Leerink Swann announced that Jed Cohen has joined the firm as Managing Director, Investment Banking.
Prior to joining Leerink Swann, Mr. Cohen was a Managing Director at Citigroup Global Markets in their Health Care Investment Banking Group. Mr. Cohen spent twelve years in the health care banking group at Citigroup in a variety of roles of increasing responsibility.
During his 15 year investment banking career, Mr. Cohen has advised on over 125 transactions, primarily focusing on emerging growth healthcare companies. Since 2000, Mr. Cohen has exclusively covered the medical technology sector, over which time he has built a leading equity underwriting and mergers and acquisitions franchise in this category. Mr. Cohen holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania.
