Three Leerink Swann Analysts Recognized in 2008 Institutional Investor 2008 All-America Research Team Survey
BOSTON, Mass.—October 14, 2008—Leerink Swann announced that three of its analysts have been recognized in Institutional Investor’s 2008 All-American Research Team Survey.
Equity research analyst Rick Wise was ranked #3 in the Medical Supplies and Devices category. This is the twelfth consecutive year that he has been named to the All-America Research Team by Institutional Investor in this category.
Seamus Fernandez was once again named Best “Up & Comer” in Pharmaceuticals/Major for the second year in a row, and Bret Jones was named Best “Up & Comer” in Health Care Technology and Distribution.

The All-America Research Team surveys more than 3000 investors and portfolio managers at more than 830 buy-side firms. The “Up & Comer” honor recognizes Fernandez and Jones as “rising stars of Wall Street” who have covered any industry sector for less than three years.
This is the latest honor bestowed upon the Boston-based healthcare investment banking firm by Institutional Investor. Leerink Swann has been selected as “Best of the Boutiques” in multiple healthcare categories in each of the past seven years.
