Alice Avanian, CFA

Associate Director of Research, Managing Director

Alice Avanian joined Leerink Swann in 2003. Ms. Avanian is responsible for idea focus, research quality and day-to-day management of the department. Previously, she spent 15 years at SG Cowen Securities, with the last nine years in equity research management. Prior to that, she spent 10 years at L.F. Rothschild, Unterberg, Towbin in New York. She is also a member of the Board of Directors of the Boston Security Analysts Society. Ms. Avanian has her B.S. in Management (summa cum laude) and an MBA in Finance (with distinction) from NYU's Stern School of Business. Her MBA thesis, "A Study of the Relationship Between Earnings Growth Rates and P/E Ratios," was published in Pensions & Investment Age.
