Situation
Our client had a pipeline gap and sought our assistance in evaluating acquisition opportunities, focusing initially on certain key products.
Our Role
To accomplish this objective, we:
- Completed rapid due diligence of potential in-license candidates for multiple diseases
- Created an understanding of disease prevalence, diagnosis and treatment rates to identify addressable subpopulations for each disease
- Conducted key opinion leader interviews to identify unmet needs and product uptake potential in each disease area
- Leveraged secondary data, including Leerink Swann research, to identify emerging therapies and potential competitive threats
- Generated a revenue forecast coupled with research to assess the overall attractiveness of product opportunities
