Situation
A European pharmaceutical company, which had experienced rapid growth over the past 5 years, needed to identify opportunities that would drive its next expansion phase.
Our Role
To accomplish this objective, we:
- Completed a rapid and thorough screening process
- Worked with the client to develop appropriate screening criteria
- Evaluated a broad list of opportunities, assembled using widely available and proprietary databases
- Used mutually developed criteria to vet and prioritize
- Employed our extensive industry contacts (including those of our Investment Banking group) to assess deal viability, including initial contact with prospective partners to assess interest
Result
We recommended a short-list of actionable targets that the client is pursuing as a component of its business development strategy.
